LIBRARY NEWS

JUNE 2013

Hi White River:

Another summer is upon us and the library is looking forward to it. We have a lot going on.

The theme for the TD Summer Reading Program this year is "GO!" The program will be held on Wednesdays again, starting July 3rd; with 0-6 year olds at 4:00-5:00 p.m. and ages 7 and up at 6:00-7:00 p.m. The children in the early program must be accompanied by someone to help them with the crafts. You can register at the library anytime we are open. SO EVERYONE!! COME TRAVEL WITH US!

Our summer hours start on July 2nd and we will be open:

Monday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Tuesday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Wednesday 1 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Thursday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Friday 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

We are closed on the weekends.

Ever wonder which is better... the book or the movie?
Check out our display of titles and decide for yourself.

We still have public access computers and plenty of books, movies and video games to keep you entertained. Chess & checkerboards are also available if you just want a game with a friend.

Our used books are available any time we are open. For a small donation you can pick and choose to keep them for your home collection.

The St. Basil's grade 5-8 class has generously donated their wake-a-thon money to the library this year. We purchased a flat screen TV and p,lan to have it set up in the back room with a video game system and the DVD player. Come and try it out!

Maranda Lethbridge is our CAP student and she, Terry and/or myself will be here to help you in any way we can. Need some computer help?? Having trouble finding something new to read? Just ask and we will do all we can.

Looking forward to seeing everyone this summer!!
